A major game in the end of season fixture list will be played out at Aggborough tomorrow evening when Kidderminster Harriers take on Cambridge Utd in a game that was originally to have been shown on TV in February but was called off due to the bad weather.  Now re-scheduled it will no longer be televised and it makes you wonder why not with Cambridge already confirmed to be in the play offs and the Harriers still in the promotion race it would have been a good choice bearing in mind that neither side have had many games televised this season.

Cambridge confirmed their place on Saturday with a routine 7-2 thrashing of already relegated Hyde FC and in doing so became the eleventh club to put four or more goals past them this season.  We play Hyde this coming Friday and, to be honest, I cannot see us running up a cricket score against them.

United knocked five past us at the beginning of March in a 5-1 victory that was to signal the last game for Andy Thorn: such was our mediocrity and ineptitude.  Now with Gary Whild at the helm we have the chance to wreak revenge on them and also attempt to move ourselves back towards the play offs that seem so distant at the moment.

Kyle Storer will be serving the final instalment of his four game ban tomorrow so will miss the game but be back in time for Friday.  Danny Jackman and Josh Gowling both continue to be missing out due to injury while we could have new injury worries with both Mickey Demetriou and Adrian Cieslewicz coming off with knocks in the second half of our 2-0 win against Welling.

Cambridge have just a couple of known injuries.  Harrison Dunk is out until the end of the season with a bad knee injury while Adam Cunnington has been out for a while too with a groin injury.

Although Cambridge have confirmed their play off spot I can't really see them settling back into a comfy seat just yet and throwing a load of fringe players at us.  They'll be wanting to prove a point and beat one of their bogie teams on their turf.  We might get a draw if we're lucky.

Teams:

Harriers from:
Lewis, N Vaughan, L Vaughan, Grimes, Dunkley, Williams, Demetriou, O'Keefe, Byrne, Verma, Riis, Malbon, Bell, Morgan-Smith, Blissett, Cieslewicz, Wright, Gittings, Gash.

Cambridge Utd from:
Norris, Siegrist, Roberts, G Taylor, Coulson, Bonner, Miller, Donaldson, Champion, Elliott, Tait, Pugh, Austin, Hughes, Berry, Sam-Yorke, Chadwick, Arnold, Bird, B-J Taylor, Hancock, Gillies, Barnes-Homer.
