The Harriers will put their FA Cup success behind them when they journey forth to Macclesfield for this important league game at Moss Rose.  Great cup wins stand for nothing if you can't get a result from a bread and butter game like this one.

Aaron Brown Saying that in recent weeks Macclesfield have improved no end and that seems to be down to 'the hottest prospect in the Conference' Connor Jennings.  Tell that to the Harriers fans who know that we have a player of our own that could teach the on loan Scunthorpe forward a thing or two.  Joe Lolley is faster than Jennings, can make his own goals and can score from any angle whereas the Macclesfield loanee is more the old fashioned centre forward who needs the ball supplied to him.

Jennings, who was discovered by Steve Burr during his time at Stalybridge, scored twice in their 4-0 drubbing of Swindon Town on Saturday to bring his tally for the season up to thirteen goals.  We need to make sure that our defenders are alert to him and snuff out any threat that he could pose.  Scott Boden is another one to watch too and he also scored against Swindon on Saturday bringing his goal total up to four.

We'll have Mickey Demetriou back for the game following his serving of a one game suspension against Sutton but Jack Byrne won't be fit having been out for a few weeks now with a hamstring injury.  New signing Aaron Brown (above right), signed as defensive cover, should be on the bench for us while Amari Morgan-Smith will be returning to his former club with a new contract in his back pocket having signed up with us until the end of the season.

Lst season we lost there in a game played in freezing conditions after there had been heavy snow in the previous couple of days.  Credit went to the fans and groundstaff in getting the game played but we wish they hadn't bothered.  At least the weather should be better tomorrow evening.

This is a game that I have a bad feeling about and I really hope we can arrive back in Kidderminster with a point or three but.....
