The Harriers will want to bounce back following that un-expected defeat at Southport on Tuesday evening, going down 1-0 to a Joe Connor goal.  We'll have to do it against one of the hardest sides to beat in this League though when we travel across to Braintree tomorrow.

They also found themselves returning home from Welling without any points when the lost 2-1 after taking a first half lead and then throwing it away in allowing the Wings to dominate the whole of the second half.  They came back from that game with quite a few injuries.

Both Remy Clerima and Jordan Cox had to be withdrawn from the game with Clerima pulling his hamstring early in the first half.  Cox was the player that got attacked by a Bristol Rovers fan at the end of the home win against the Gas on Saturday.  Out long term are Charlie Strutton, Matt Paine and Sean Marks.

We'll should be at full strength for this game and hopefully the rumoured bust up between Michael Gash and Gary Whild has now been resolved and gash will find himself back in his usual place on the bench.  It would be good to see him start a game but that looks unlikely with Craig Reid and Jamie Grimes being the preferred strikeforce in recent games.  Whild seems determined to keep a clean sheet in as many games as possible but it was noted that once we went a goal down at Southport then we didn't really know how to get back into the game, even against a ten man team.

The answer, in my opinion, is to go back to a traditional team make up of defenders, strikers AND midfielders and not stick a 6ft 5in defender up front while a recognised, quality midfielder like Callum Gittings sits on the bench.  We need to get back to a proper passing game and not the hoofball that we're being forced to watch as the ball flies over the heads of what midfield we have and also Craig Reid, a player who wants the ball at his feet.

Will it happen? Not an earthly.

Will we get a win or a nil nil draw? The latter I think.
