The Harriers will be looking to bounce back from that awful 2-0 home defeat to Aldershot when they travel down to Bristol Rovers tomorrow.  It'll have to be done without another two players following Jared Hodgkiss' red card at the start of the second half on Wednesday (he'll miss just the one game) and we'll also be without Michael Gash after he was surprisingly let out on loan to cash strapped Nuneaton.  A team even more cash strapped than we appear to be.

The first we heard about Gash going was after the Shots game when Gary Whild decided to come clean in view of the following evenings fans forum.  It was at that forum last night that he released the news that he had gone out on a two month loan deal to Nuneaton.  It seems pointed that all the players going out on loan in the last few days, we now have six players out at other clubs, have been going on two month deals and that in turn points to this coming Christmas period looking bad financially.  A point also raised at the forum.

The biggest eye opener of the night had to go right at the start when Whild let it out that the club had been placed under a transfer embargo at the start of the season meaning that we couldn't bring in the likes of Amarii Bell and Jonny Hunt before the August deadline.  This embargo must have come from either the FA or the Conference board but our own board never let on and carried on as if nothing had happened.  I can see us getting another one very soon.

Other points covered was the lack of appearances for Callum Gittings (not impressing in training), the likelihood of Chey Dunkley, Nathan Blissett and others being sold (who will replace them if we're under another embargo?), the treatment of Josh O'Keefe during the Eastleigh debacle (the reason he went out on loan) and the signing of the former Wrexham keeper Joslain Mayebi on non contract terms.

So we now know a bit more about what has been going on and it appears that Gary Whild came close to losing the backing of the fans after Aldershot but the very next night he has gotten them back on board by his honesty.  Whereas the board of KHFC have shown their true colours in getting us into this mess once again.  The time has come for them to go.

For the game tomorrow we're down to bare bones so it looks like every player bar one will get their chance to put the wrongs right.  It couldn't come in a worse game for us with Rovers now much improved from their poor form at the start of the season as they struggled to acclimatise to the way the Conference teams play.  That hit a high during September when they won five games in a row but in recent weeks have picked up the odd result here and there.  They are now looking to re-inforce their attack and have been linked with the former Harrier Lee Hughes from FGR and also Matt Tubbs at Bournemouth.  Some of their fans had also mentioned Michael Gash but as already noted they're too late now.

We'll be without Kyle Storer, as well as Hodgkiss, following his hernia op the other day.  Jake Green came on in place of Hodgkiss the other night and so I expect him to cover for this game meaning that he'll be unexpectedly playing against his former club.  As for Rovers I have no team news.
