The Harriers are facing a long journey up to the North East tomorrow evening and unless things improve from Saturdays shocking performance at Nuneaton we cannot hope to get anything from Gateshead.  The Harriers fans travelled the short distance to the game at the weekend in expectancy of an attacking performance (as promised by the management team) that would send us soaring back towards the play off places but instead we got a mediocre display of disjointed football made worse by un-fathomable substitutions that could spell the last we see of the one bright spark in the game.  Aaron Wildig.

He was the only truly creative player on the pitch, for either side, and he found himself replaced by a rookie winger just minutes after the start of the second half.  The midfielder has now returned to Shrewsbury following his one month loan spell with us and it's now doubtful if he'll want to make an immediate return in time to play tomorrow evening.

We returned from Liberty Way injury free and, apart from the change in midfield, we should field the same team at the International Stadium.  The only change could be Callum Gittings coming in for Wildig.

Gateshead didn't get a game on Saturday after their fixture at Dartford was postponed due to a frosted pitch.  The previous Saturday they lost at home to Nuneaton and will now be wanting to make up for the reversal by beating us.

They'll be without just the two players, Phil Turnbull and JJ O'Donnell, out with foot injuries.

Have sympathy for the dedicated Harriers fans going all that way tomorrow afternoon.  They may be coming back depressed.
