Yet another game that we, the Harriers fans, will have that we can finally get our first win of the season and no doubt it'll be another game that those hopes will fail to be realised.  Tonight we play fellow strugglers Altrincham at Moss Lane and with new manager Dave Hockaday in charge plus a host of top class loan players just out of school we can't fail to win can we?

Yesterday two more fresh faced kids were bought in from Bournemouth and West Brom while one went back to his club having failed to really impress us.  19yr old Ben Whitfield has joined us for a month from the South coast while Joe Ward, almost 19 years old, has come from the Hawthorns with Andre Wright returning to them.  Add in the others that came in prior to the Macclesfield game last Saturday: 19yr old Jordan Murphy from Walsall, 18yr old George Cater formerly of West Brom and the distinctly elderly Callum Hassan at 22yrs old then you can see where the Harriers problems lie with an obvious lack of experience to get us out of this mess.

Fair play to Murphy having him score at Macclesfield and Hassan putting himself about a bit but it's the existing experienced players like Joe Clarke, Lathaniel Rowe-Turner and Aman Verma that are failing in their duties as on Saturday when Clarke stood there remonstrating at his team mates after he failed to deal with Tony Diagne to allow him to score.  I cannot see why we are bringing in these young players on loan when the likes of Halifax signed 30yr old midfielder Nicky Wroe on loan from Notts County yesterday.  Don't give me this bullshit about not being able to afford the likes of Wroe because when we have relegation staring us in the face bits of kids are no good to anyone.

We might have Gurjit Singh back for us tonight now that he's back in training and Tahvon Campbell might also be back after he missed out at the weekend with a slight knock.  Jordan Jones went off injured in that game so could be doubtful as did defender Kevin Toner.

Altrincham have been in a run of poor form lately with their last game at Aldershot ending in a 2-0 defeat.  They'll definitely be without the former Harriers defender Tom Marshall with a broken leg while Andrew Parry, Ryan Crowther, Stuart Coburn and Shaun Densmore are all out, or could be out, injured.

I'm going to go out on a limb with my forecast for this game and it could come as a surprise when I say that we could lose this.  No, we will lose.
