Lathaniel Rowe-Turner Basement club Kidderminster Harriers are back in action tomorrow when tenth placed Braintree come to town.  We may be bottom of the table but at least we know that we're the strongest team in the league having to hold all the others up.

Last Mondays late goal flurry saw us get a point from Tranmere after trailing by two goals in the first half and us looking very unlikely to get anything out of the game.  A superb solo effort from Gurjit Singh was the start of the comeback and that was topped off with an equaliser from Reece Styche thanks to some poor Rovers defending.  The rest of the game we were very poor though and equally bad defending handed Tranmere both their goals to start off with and we looked suspect throughout.

Hopefully lessons were learnt and the euphoria of that final ten minutes will be carried on for the Braintree game.

We should have Kelvin Langmead back for the game (will we?) and he should be able to tighten the defence up a bit but at the cost of who though.  Will Lathaniel Rowe-Turner (right) drop to the bench for him or will LRT drop back into the left back position and cruelly relegate Andrew Fox to the bench? I know what I would do.

We'll be without Craig Reid for the game and for the rest of the season too.  No he's not injured, just left.  After hardly getting a look in this season, or last, the club have finally bitten the bullet and paid him off.  He only made four appearances for us this season and hadn't been seen for the last three games and in total scored only five goals in a forty three game spell since he joined us at the start of last season.

We wish Craig well but sadly it just didn't work out for either party.

Apart from Rob Taylor we have no injuries but then again we don't seem to have Rob Taylor either.  Braintree have no injuries to report, mainly because they don't report them anyway.  Or squad details.  They did have Charlie Strutton out injured for a long time and he has now gone on loan to Hayes & Yeading for a month in an effort to gain some match fitness.

So far this season they're doing ok and are up to tenth place in the table having won three games and drawn one.  The draw coming at home to Tranmere a few weeks ago and two of their wins have come on their travels so obviously they travel well.

It's high time we got a win this season and it better start coming soon for obvious reasons.  It's not that we're in a false position in this league because we deserve to be at the bottom but if we leave it much longer then we'll be finding ourselves cut adrift and panicking.

Who's panicking?
