Now that the Harriers have the bit firmly between their teeth it's time to start climbing the table to safety and Saturday's long overdue away win at Boreham Wood has seemingly convinced the fans of that.  For some of us though it will take more than our first three points since November if we;re going to see a miracle at Aggborough.

Tonight we welcome Eastleigh to our home and, actually, we do stand a chance of winning this game mainly down to the fact that Eastleigh are going through a bad patch themselves and that their last win came at the Silverlake Stadium on December 19th at home to none other than Kidderminster Harriers.  Now there's a good omen if ever there was.

We should have a fully fit squad for the game tonight with Jordan Tunnicliffe and Adam Dawson still on the fringes of making a return.  The game should also be ok to go ahead now that the worst of Storm Imogen is now passed.  Worcester had their game at Aggborough called off on Saturday due to the weather so the pitch should be in a fine, but heavy, condition.  As long as we can play a passing game then we should be ok.

Eastleigh lost 3-0 at Lincoln on the day we were reaching a seasonal milestone by winning away from home.  That was their biggest defeat of the season so far although they did lose 2-5 at home to Dover in September but at least they did score on that day.  The Harriers will be hoping to inflict another defeat on them.

They'll be without the suspended Jai Reason, thankfully, and have injury doubts with Joe Partington, Yemi Odubade, Andy Drury and Paul Reid.  Ex Harrier James Constable had missed a few games through injury recently but returned to the side at Lincoln.

The loan window opens today and Eastleigh are looking to bring scoring legend Matt Tubbs in on loan from Portsmouth (now signed).  He started his career a long time ago at Salisbury before going into the Football League with Bournemouth and Rotherham.  Now thirty One he's out of favour at Pompey and hasn't played for them since October.  Hmmm, could be one for us?

They are also interested in loaning Paul Benson from Luton.  Hmmm, could be another one for us but our main priority should be to tie Ben Whitfield on loan from Bournemouth for the remainder of the season after his current loan ends tonight.

So the weather is improving (hopefully it stays that way) and we're going to build on that Saturday win.  Yes we are.
