This is it then.  The last throw of the dice for the Harriers and I can guarantee you now that it isn't going to be two sixes on the top.

Tomorrow it's off to also almost relegated Welling for what could be called a pointless six pointer with the Harriers needing to win the game and at the same time Halifax, Guiseley and Torquay losing every one of their remaining games.  It's a slightly better scenario for Welling with them needing Chester to lose all their games too and with the Cestrians sacking our former manager Steve Burr last night then there could be hope for them there.  Welling have won their last two games though and feel that they could actually throw those sixes.

An unexpected away win at Tranmere came last week while their Easter Monday game at home to Woking also gave them all three points to add to the away draw at Eastleigh on Good Friday.  It has obviously given them hope that they could - should - beat us but I can't see them doing that until the end of the season too and think they'll also be dropping down like us.

We had yet another shocking result at home to Altrincham last Saturday with the only saving grace a late goal from Ben Whitfield that gave us a meaningless point in a game that we were supposed to win.  Since that game the only injury worry is with Arthur Gnahoua, yet again, with his ankle problem still not yet sorted.  We all know that he's one of our better players but you can't keep taking risks with him and he has to be given the rest of the season off otherwise he could end up permanently crocked.  We have no other known injuries.

Welling don't either and if they did we would never know anyway.  I'm not even sure if half the team listed below still actually play for them such is the dearth of information from that sad little club.

Teams:

Harriers from:
Snedker, Brown, O'Leary, Hodgkiss, Lowe, Langmead, T Williams, Fané, Francis-Angol, Gnahoua, Tunnicliffe, Jones, Whitfield, McQuilkin, Maxwell, N'Gwatala, Kinsella, Singh, G Taylor, Patrick, Garnett.

Welling Utd from:
McEntegart, Gagliardi, Rodák, Chesmain, Fagan, Osborne, Chambers, Porter, Lee, Kabba, Wanadio, Kashket, Adeyinka, Nortey, Gayle, Ferry, J Taylor, Lokko, Corne, Harris, B Williams, Yusuff, Thompson-Martelly, Gunner, Birch, Johnson, Plummer, Daniel, Vidal, Bakare.
