If they do climb above us and push us down to third place then we'll still have home advantage but not if it all ends up becoming a Halifax v Harriers final where they would get the home option. If only we had won at Gainsborough last Saturday.
In that game we came from behind to score through substitute Andre Brown and that goal gave him his thirteenth strike of the season to earn himself a trial with Leicester City on Monday evening. He'll be hoping to be on the scoresheet again tomorrow and hopefully a few others too.
We still have injury doubts with Josh Ezewele and possibly with Emmanuel Sonupè (right) too after he missed out with a late injury before the Gainsborough game. There could be a few players being rested too with busy week coming up when we play the first of the play off games on Wednesday then the following Sunday we have the home leg against a team we know not yet but it's looking likely to be either Chorley or Salford City after Darlington were denied the chance to compete following the FA ruling that they don't have enough seats in the ground to be able to play football.
And here's me thinking all you needed was a ball and a pitch to play on.
Bradford come here with nothing to play for apart from pride. They made themselves safe from relegation in their controversial 1-1 draw at AFC Fylde on Easter Monday when the home side, yet again, scored in time added on well after the whistle should have gone. They would have been grateful for that point after they lost 2-0 at home to Stockport last Saturday with their visitors also having an outside chance of making the play offs.
They'll be without Jake Hibbs after he was dismissed for two yellow cards at Fylde where their manager Mark Bower was also dismissed from the touchline after arguing with the referee about the time added on. They could have a couple of injuries with Emile Sinclair picking up an injury against Stockport while James Knowles also left the game with a re-occurrence of a previous injury.
These are long overdue exciting times at Aggborough once again and us being in the play offs following last seasons results from hell is something that most fans never imagined. Most of us were looking at an upper mid-table finish and it's thanks to the footballing philosophy ingrained into the club now, from the board down to the groundsman, that we now find ourselves back on the rise. If we fail to get promoted we can still believe and go again next season.
For now though 'Let's go for it'.
