The Harriers take on Gloucester City tomorrow at familiar surroundings for us but one that is alien to City fans.  City are now playing their games temporarily at Cheltenhams Whaddon Rd (I refuse to call it whatever stupid name it has now) while they await their move back to Gloucester and a new stadium in the pipeline for building.  From next season they may have to play their home games at Evesham after Cheltenham said they could no longer play at Whaddon Rd.

It'll be the first time we've played them there although we did play Cheltenham there last season and a 2-0 defeat didn't help our survival hopes one bit.  We played City in November this season and that 3-0 win helped our promotion hopes no end so it's swings and roundabouts.

With both Arthur Gnahoua and Zaine Francis-Angol back from injury last week then we should be at full strength this week and hopes of bouncing back from the home defeat against Halifax at the back of our minds.  Another goal for Joe Ironside should have set us on our way until a shocking penalty miss just before half time set the tone for the rest of the game and in the end we were just not strong enough physically.  We may look good passing the ball around but when it comes to combating a team that relies on muscle then we have very little chance.

We'll continue to be without the services of Ashley Carter who will now be serving the third stage of his four match ban.

City are heading for their best finish ever at this level so they'll want to add to a string of decent results in the past few weeks to enable that.  The high point of the six game run is the 1-0 win at Halifax a few weeks ago and during the week they came back to earn a draw in added on time at an in form Nuneaton that saw them consolidate a tenth place in the table but too far from the play-off places to do any damage.

They are pretty well free from injuries and have just minor worries with Chris Knowles (groin) and Tom Webb but they should both be ok to play.

It should be a good crowd down there tomorrow and with it not being too far distant (some fans have already started walking) we should be able to take at least two hundred and fifty Red and Whites there to help them better the record of 765 so far this season.  I also think we'll win.
