Craig Armstrong joined the club in the latter part of January 2009 following his release from local rivals Cheltenham Town.  Now 33yrs old the left sided midfielder has had his fair share of clubs since he signed terms for Nottm Forest in June 1992.

After going out on loan to various clubs he finally signed for Huddersfield Town for a £75,000 fee then later on for nearby Sheffield Wednesday for a further £25,000 on top of that.  He signed for Cheltenham for the second time in February 2008 but once their new manager, Martin Allen, came in he fell out of favour and was sent out to Burton Albion on loan with his contract being paid off in the New Year.

After a handful of games for us, including a sending off, he left the club in June 2009 to join Mansfield Town.
