Chris Beardsley signed for us after having previously worked with Stuart Watkiss at Mansfield.  The fiery forward signed for Doncaster Rovers at the start of the 04-05 season but failed to make the first team even though he was scoring for fun in the reserves.

At only 20yrs old he has a long future in the game and hopefully will be the one to solve our goal scoring dilemma.

That wasn't the case and after firstly saying that he wanted to stay at Aggborough to help us get back into the Football League he turned around and re-joined Mansfield.
