Born 13th December 1977 Dean played in midfield and joined the Harriers for an undisclosed fee until he left to join Wrexham in July 2004 after he decided not to renew his contract. His time there was not too productive, spending most of his time in the treatment room.
He left Wrexham in June 2006 to move the short distance to Chester City but in August 2007 returned to Kidderminster for a three month loan after falling out of favour at City. He signed permanently once more in January 2008 but left, probably for the final time, to join up with Ian Foster and Wayne Hatswell at Irish club Dundalk.
