Midfielder Ian Bogie (6/12/1967) began his footballing career with Newcastle Utd where he earned the title of "the new Gazza" following an impressive start to his career.
From there he moved onto Preston North End, Millwall and then onto Leyton Orient.
He joined Port Vale in a £50,000 deal before being released in May 2000.
Ian signed a 2yr deal with Kidderminster Harriers in August 2000 but was released towards the end of the season when he went back home to Tyneside.
He then played for Bedlington Terriers on a part time basis before taking on the managers post at Gateshead and succeeding in getting them promoted to the Blue Square Premier in 2009.
