He made his debut for the Harriers on October 17th 1962 against Banbury Spencer and went on to make 686 appearances in the famous red shirt before leaving for Bromsgrove Rovers to end his career in 1975.
He scored 269 goals in his time here, an average of 26 per season.
His son, Darren, played for Birmingham City and Derby County.
