Ian Britton was appointed manager of Kidderminster Harriers in May 2002 after taking over as caretaker manager in March when Jan Molby left to take charge of Hull City.

Bristolian Ian began his football career at Birmingham City when he joined them on schoolboy terms but after 3yrs moved to the North of the city when he joined Walsall for only one season.

He then joined Telford Utd in 1977 from where he spent some time at Aggborough on loan before joining up with Graham Allner at AP Leamington.

In 1993 he came back to the Harriers to take charge of the youth and reserve side.
He then left the Reds for a couple of years to manage Bridgnorth Town and Redditch Utd but was never successful at either club.

He returned once more to Aggborough to his old job of youth team manager.

After a poor run of results that showed he was out of his depth he was finally dismissed on October 18th 2003.
