Jesper was initially signed by Jan Molby just before Christmas 2003 but he wasn't available to play for us until January 1st 2004.  He made his debut for us in the FA Cup game at home to Wolves.

He started his career at Danish side Odense Boldklub but did come over to the UK for a fruitless trial at Grimsby Town before returning to Denmark.

In his time at Aggborough he only managed to score one goal, against Swansea, and never really convinced as Centre Forward.  It wasn't until he moved to the left side of the park that he showed how good he could be.

He left a month after Jan Molby did due to a clause in his contract allowing him to and subsequently joined Scottish Premier side, Dunfermline.
