Mikael joined the Harriers on 19th September 20003 after being released by his club, Oldham, that morning and left just 3 days later on the 22nd to join Rochdale having turned out for just 27 minutes as a second half substitute against Lincoln City.
The 20yr old striker was born at Orsay, 25 miles SW of Paris on 5th March 1983 and started his footballing career in France with Nancy but left to seek his fortune in this country at Preston North End.
After being released without making the grade he arrived at Nottingham Forest where again he failed to make any impression, apart from making it to the bench in a Worthington Cup game against the Harriers. During his time there he went out on loan to Brentford where he scored 3 times in 11 appearances.
After joining Oldham at the start of the 2003-04 season he scored 3 goals in 9 outings but found himself relegated to the bench. Because of their precarious financial status Oldham decided to release him.
