Youssou Diop was signed just before the start of the 04-05 season after excelling in the pre-season friendlies when he scored two great long range goals.

He's a fast, mobile type of player that can score goals just when you least expect them.

Sadly for us he never did and left the club in December of that year after a public altercation between himself and Jimmy Conway at a game at Grimsby.
