Daire first came to Aggborough on trial in the early part of the 2000/01 season and made an immediate impression on Jan Molby.

He tried to sign him from Coventry City but Gordon Strachan would not agree to it.

Jan finally got his man in January 2001.

Daire (pronounced Darra) was born on the 18th October 1980.

Sadly he never really made the first team and was eventually released in February 2003.
