Sean joined the Harriers on 2nd August 2002 after leaving Tranmere Rovers at the end of the previous season.  He started his career at Halesowen Town before joining Coventry City in a £20,000 deal.

At WBA he was made Club Captain before being released to join Tranmere in July 2000.

He was made Club Captain almost immediately on his arrival by Ian Britton but after just one season left the club by mutual consent in September 2003.
