Lee Fowler signed for the Harriers following his release from Championship side Doncaster Rovers. Starting his career with Coventry City as a youngster he failed to make a real breakthrough there even though he did get to play a handful of games before being released to join Huddersfield Town.
He then followed a route that took him in and out of the Football League to clubs such as FGR and Wrexham. It was the former Wrexham manager Dean Saunders that took the volatile midfielder to Doncasster but he failed to make more than four appearances there before getting loaned out.
Known for having something of a temper it's to be hoped that under Steve Burr, for the next two years, he can control that and become a great player in the mould of the re-formed Lee Vaughan.
Lee left the club in January 2014 and soon after joined up with the Welsh Premier club New Saints.
