Jamie Grimes came to the Harriers towards the end of the 2012-13 season as defensive cover and also to be assessed for his suitability in the longer term.
He started his footballing career with Leicester City as a youngster but soon moved on to Swansea City as an apprentice. After a few years there, and going out on loan to Haverfordwest and Forest Green, he left to join up with Redditch Utd where his and Gary Whilds paths must have crossed.
From Redditch he moved on to Brackley Town and then finally to Bedford Town from where he joined up with us at Aggborough. After two seasons with the Harriers, and facing another season of possibly no wages, he decided to join Dover after they offered him a better deal.
