Dave Hankin was a former signing of the Harriers manager Steve Burr when Burr was at Stalybridge Celtic. Following his leaving Bower Fold it was more than likely that he would be joining the Harriers.
The midfielder plays primarily out wide right and can chip in with a fair few goals too.
