Cayne was released from Turf Moor after failing to make the grade following a back injury but is highly rated enough to be able to survive at a lower level. He was a prolific scorer for their youth side and should be able to produce similar here.
Pity that wasn't the case. He played for just twenty minutes at Morecambe and then went back home claiming that he was too good for us.
He has now taken over from Mickael Antoine-Curier as the shortest ever appearance for us. He then went to play for FC Utd for a while and then joined Northwich Victoria in the New Year 2008.
