Luke Jones has arrived at Aggborough as part of the deal that took James Constable and Scott Bevan to Shrewsbury Town at the end of January 2008.

Starting his career at his local side Blackburn he was released after failing to make the grade needed for the Premiership and joined up with Shrewsbury in November 2006.

He has made a handful of appearances for them but has missed most of the season through injury.  He came to the Harriers for an initial one month loan that was then extended by a further month until, just hours before playing at Stevenage he was re-called by his club and was forced to watch the game from the sidelines.

Luke returned to the club on a free transfer during the close season but after one full season with us he was released on May 11th and immediately joined Mansfield Town.  From there he joined Forest Green Rovers for a season but then re-joined us prior to the 2011-12 season.
