Harriers Online. The wonderful world of Kidderminster Harriers

Neil Mackenzie

Neil joined the Harriers in November 2000 from Cambridge Utd.  He was released from there after an alleged assault on a member of the public but Jan Molby bought him to Aggborough because he knew that he could see some good in him.

Neil was born locally in Birmingham on 15th April 1976 and is a tall (6'2"), elegant midfielder with very good skill on the ball.

He repaid Jan's faith in him by leaving the club under a cloud when he signed for Blackpool at the end of the 2000/01 season.  In following seasons he joined other sides including Mansfield and Hereford Utd before ending up at Notts County in March 2007 from where he returned to Aggborough on loan in September 2008.

Neil is also something of a celeb having appeared on a couple of episodes of the Channel 4 quiz show Countdown
