At first many supporters thought it was a case of 'old friends', Marsh was a former team mate of Jans at Liverpool, but we were soon proved to be wrong.
Molby bought him in to do a job, to gel the team together and make them play as a team.
With his vision and ability to read the game, and provide pin point passes, he soon became a true hero, but because he had accepted an insurance payout for damaged knees he could not join the Harriers in the 3rd Division.
Mike was born 21/7/1969 and played for West Ham against the Harriers in the famous FA Cup run of 1994.
