He started his career at Derby County but never made the first team and eventually went out on loan to some lower league clubs before finally being released to join Tamworth in the Doc Martens Premier.
He joined the Harriers for an un-disclosed fee thought to be in the region of £12,000.
Scott made his debut for the Reds against Leyton Orient and almost scored.
In October the following year he was released by the club and joined Redditch Utd where he had already been for a month on loan.
