Simon was with Jan Molby at Hull City but after failing to get into the side there and with even less chance once City earned promotion in 2004 he opted to come to Aggborough.
He is our first ginger headed player since Lee Hughes and bears a striking resemblance to Paul Scholes of Manchester Utd.
