With no chance of a place once they reached the Premiership the Wolves manager, Dave Jones, decided to release him.
He signed up with the Harriers just prior to the start of the 2003-04 season on a one year contract but never really made the grade and was released at the end of the season and joined, first Cheltenham, Burton and then Tamworth.
