Danny Williams, who was born in Wrexham, started his footballing education at his local club as a youngster but was persuaded to try his luck at Liverpool but he never made the grade and returned to Wrexham in March 1999.

He spent time at Conference side Doncaster last season but was released on his return at the end of the season.

He signed for the Harriers in July 2001 but after failing to settle in the Wyre Forest area he spent a month on loan at Chester City before finally signing for Bristol Rovers on transfer deadline day 2004.

He then left there and re-signed for Wrexham Utd.
