Yes he does I agree but I still have this nagging question when we play the Worksops and Alfretons of this world.
There's rightly a lot of talk about how different Worksop will be but I'd love to see us go out and play the way we did Tuesday night. Is this just naïve? Would Worksop simply pick us ...

Re: MotM: 13-01-26. Morecambe (H)
I think we were thoroughly entertained and a little bit in shock. We were good, very good. They were unbelievably bad. Is that really the team they put out in the NL? They can't possibly survive if it is. The thing is we were 5-1 up at half time and that must surely be unique in Harrier history ...

We know it's going to be Fylde away. Don't know why they're bothering.

Re: League News 1
Quite agree. I remember when we signed marvellous Marvin from a local junior side and I think Jo Lolley was playing for a local team when we gave him a trial. It's what Harriers should be doing surely, rather than paying over the odds for "established" players every time. Developing young players ...

The floodlight failure I remember was Swindon. But the game went ahead after hurried repairs and finished about 10.30.
I think we won. Abdou Sal was playing.

I was at the Plymouth one. Don't remember Halifax. There was a game against Carlisle (I think) that should have been called off. Standing water in both penalty areas in the second half. I remember a lad called Bird scooping the ball out of a puddle to score for us. Happy days.

Noticeable on the video that Reece was free on at least 2 other occasions, unmarked at the far post, but the pass was never made to him.

Re: Harriers news 1
Absolutely agree. The recent good form starts with him I think and Owen Evans. That has brought the best out of Obi and Reece Devine and enabled the midfield to play with more freedom. But it all starts at the back. If anyone wants to start a January boost-the-budget to keep him, I'll contribute.

Re: 30-12-25. Telford (H)
Hadn't realised our lack of goals was quite so extreme. As mentioned on the Hereford thread, it isn't so much that we miss loads of chances ( though we miss a few) - we just don't create very many. I too would love to see Walker and Willoughby on the field at the same time from the start of a game ...

Re: Trophy 4th rd draw. Morecambe (H)
All depends how seriously Morecambe take it I suppose. As a team that's just slipped out of the EFL, they won't want to do anything to increase their chances of dropping another level and they're not exactly sitting pretty at the moment. I wouldn't mind if they play a few fringe players and increase ...

We've beaten the current top 3 so we must have something. I thought Evans had his best game for us but as said above difficult to pick anyone out really. A true team effort, great energy and the crowd responded.
