Got mine, cannot wait. I'd be over the moon if we even get a goal.

I've got mine thanks to a very kind Good Samaritan. I'd take a narrow one-goal win :)

Apologies for the desperation, but any ST holders or Halifax ticket holders who can't do this game and fancy helping someone get a ticket who couldn't do the Halifax game please get in touch. There'll be beers for life in it!

Will the beeb have a 'studio' set up anywhere or do we think this will be pitchside?
I believe it’s Lineker presenting, not sure about the setup though. I’d imagine they’d be in some sort of studio. Be interesting to know where that would go.
My guess they would use the executive box on the left hand side as it is separate to the main room
As in the former control room? Would make sense.

That is used by the old bill if its the room to the far right of the stand (right by the corner of the north terrace)
I would imagine they'd be pitch side.

I believe there are two rooms to the right of that stand. One being a control room, the other for corporate use, the second could well be used. They well set up their own though, where I’m not sure.

Whats with the preoccupation with the BBC?
So long as they dont sit in my seat or get in the way of me watching the match, dear old Auntie and Co. can set up where they like.

So how many do they normally cater for then? 10 people per table. How many tables?

I was referring to their standing and seat allocation, just to clarify.

Feel free to split this off if needs be Phil, I’m hoping there’ll be a few replies to this, it’s for something in particular…

West Ham 93/94 or West Ham 21/22.

As someone who wasn’t alive for the first meeting, next weeks game seems bigger than the first one.

A question for the more experienced members of this board:

Which one is bigger contextually and in the history of the club would you say?

It's ok to stay here.

Back then although West Ham were a Prem side it was in the 5th round and not the 4th like this so on paper that should have been the bigger historically.

But...

Even though, now, West Ham are still a Prem side that league has grown so big that WHU are now a much bigger side than they were back then. With the player quality now compared to back then 'West Ham are massive where ever they go'

So, I'd say this is the bigger game.

Back then we were top of the division above where we are now, but don`t know if this would affect judgment.

5th round game has to be bigger.

I'm inclined to agree, though it's a close one.

94 was a first for the club. The club had never had any greater success or played at any higher level.

It was also personally significant, having started watching the Harriers in early 92, bizarrely becoming hooked by the relegation struggle and last-day escape, after which the only way was up. The 93-94 team was a perfectly balanced and settled squad, built over a season and a half, and undoubtedly the best Harriers team in the time I've been watching. Though of course, they were part time players with clichéd semi-pro habits and jobs, and in reality would have struggled massively against today's team.

This time around, with us now being an ex-league side, it doesn't have the same novelty or romance value as it did in 94. But there's an extra division's gap, and West Ham are a top Prem side (which they definitely weren't then). And the fact that all three big games in 94 are reflected in this game - Brady, Sullivan and Gold from Birmingham City, David Moyes from PNE, and West Ham themselves- it has a great narrative. So it's a close call, but I think the bigger gap plus the callbacks to the 94 run make this the bigger game.

The 1994 game I’d say personally.
As said above that was the 5th round & the furthest we’d been by some distance & still very much a part time club playing a premier league side.
This no doubt a massive game as it’s our 1st ever live game on terrestrial tv & with the prize/money tv money what now comes with it that wasn’t anywhere near those levels in 94.
Still both massive achievements we’ve been privileged to witness.
