Explains why their form took a nose dive (pun intended)
Colin Gordon supporters seem very keen on his mates who’ve bought the club from him, don’t they? :kissarse:

Joe Ironside scored in his fourth consecutive match for Doncaster tonight, capping their tenth consecutive victory in an unlikely surge to the playoffs in League Two. He’s on 19 for the season.

They were 22nd in the league in February after losing 5-1 to Stockport, just before Grant McCann took over. They're now 5th.

Before we moved to Kiddy in the mid-80s, we lived in Doncaster. I lost my heart to football at Belle Vue.

I still look out for Donny’s results each week and am very much enjoying them “doing a Harriers” and winning week in, week out to come from nowhere to make the play-offs.

Their rise up the table has been even more spectacular than ours, but can they win promotion too?

Hartlepool sack Kevin Phillips then minutes later announce their new manager.

Will be very interested to see how Darrell Sarll gets in there given a) how impatient and trigger-happy Hartlepool's chairman is, and b) how it all unravelled for him at Woking this season.

Hartlepool's fans are gutted at losing Phillips. I don't think Super Kev knew it was coning - his contract was ending but they were in talks, and in interviews in the past week he gad spoken about building a link with Sunderland and finalising the retained and released list.

But judging by the fact Sarll was appointed less than an hour after it was announced Phillips had left, there had clearly been moves being made behind his back...

Went to see Dulwich 2-6 Cray Wanderers (not Paper Mills) today. Cray played some terrific stuff, such clever movement and play, even more impressive when you consider the level. Cray's striker Gary Lockyer scored four. Dulwich's bizarre footballing experiment continues, a stalwart full house turned up and seemed nonplussed by their side's poor performance. In fact, I'm not sure some were aware...
The best team we ever had- since i've been watching the Harriers (2002-)
