Didn’t realise Bailey had got a move from Swift’s. Some step up, that

Two defensive mistakes plus iffy penalty but really it's all academic in a mixed performance friendly. Evening with no clues to team direction but containing a few positives.

Russ's interview was honest I felt. He's clearly concerned with some of the senior players. I do think there are questions as to why certain players were retained and thought this when the list was announced.

There's clearly a fear of more injuries (following on from Moho) so I expect this is why Bell and Montrose have had limited game time.

Russ said he expects one or two arrivals by end of the week. Sounds like loan players.

We created a fair few chances. Didn't take enough. Defensive errors for all goals. Major worry.
We lost to a side two leagues below us. For periods we were second best.
I've seen enough pre seasons to know results at this point indicate little. However, I remain pessimistic about our chances of challenging.

I believe they're in level 3, one below us.
Fully agree, a very honest and open interview. Hopefully positives will come out of it.

So they are. They seem to be ambitious. Who knows, we could be going to grounds like that every week soon.

The manager seems to think there are enough clues to be concerned.

The club seems to be in something of a mess, both on and off the field. Doubt we're the only ones, but doesn't mean it's not a concern.
