First friendly announced for 13th July at Stourport Swifts.

I'd get a friendly sorted at home as soon as restrictions allow for fans back, if it was up to me. We need to get people back into the habit and remind them of why they love coming to Aggborough.

Marketing 101, keep dates of all public events secret until the last minute.

Wait a second...

Pitch is apparently being ripped up & relaid starting Mid May so home friendlies may come later rather than sooner because of this.

I thought the pitch was super duper amazing and hasn’t been played on, why do they need to rip it up?

We cannot even be bothered to announce our first Pre-Season Friendly and instead have to rely on the part-time lower league club to do it for us. What on earth is the matter with us?

Perhaps waiting for a full list? Which might be tricky given the football league season has a while to run.

Sorry Sheff - haven't we announced them piecemeal in the past as they are arranged and then when all are in place a complete list is issued through the website although I guess if we have to rely on Harriers Voice the list won't be issued till October!!!

Stourport announced all theirs at once, what's wrong with us announcing all ours at once?

I can imagine that the club is waiting for a full list to completed, which I would guess would take some time. Russ is busy getting the squad together so I doubt in mid-April a preseason friendly is top of his agenda.

You’d imagine that the Swift’s game won’t be a first XI either.

If the club had announced it, I’d put my house on it being met with disdain anyway.

I’m focusing on the positives of the squad that’s taking shape at the moment. Hopefully we’ll get something from the Voice soon as well. I’ve asked the question so will relay when I get an answer.

I’m willing to bet that if we announced a full pre season fixture list (that I haven’t seen any NLN team do yet) there’d be complaints over that as well.

I know this is a complaint, but I do wish folk would stop moaning over every little minute detail

Player signs a contract, announced by club so all know. Then some vexed cos shuttle announce it a week later. Who cares it’s been announced!
Now this over a friendly.
People need to get a grip and look forward. Moaning at every little detail. Some on here be fun at parties.
