With respect, it would be hard to see Maidstone and Dorking getting promoted if they were in our half. But that’s the way it is.

Interesting to see Banbury in the North, but Oxford in the South. That would have been a potential Oxon derby, but maybe Banbury is considerably more northern than their counterparts.

And I know this will cause a debate, but I really couldn’t give a hoot about cup dates next season. It was lovely and all that, but next season has to be judged on whether we win the league or not, and that alone.

ok - sort of daft thing i notice - in next season NLN 20 of the 24 teams begin with letters in the first half of the alphabet, and only 4 with letters in the second half . . .
