I've put all the more interesting old threads in here so they can still be seen following the board overhaul in October 2008. It'll be read only.

Posted 12 hours ago according to NewsNow but it wasn't there at 5pm this evening.

Someone fiddling with timestamps?

Shame as with us having just one winger fit and a striker playing in the other it makes us light so would have liked to seen Tolley recalled and included in the 16.

Christian Dibble has been released by Wrexham. Has experience at this level...

The best team we ever had- since i've been watching the Harriers (2002-)

Wondered who that was at Curzon last night. Looks very, very similar.

His Dad was a great keeper!

Having seen the Wrexham documentary though, he has the Stuart Brock’s about him! (Wonder save one minute, proper clanger the next!)

If Christian Dibble has been released to sign for us, it would potentially all add up.

The article says Dibble was going to move on from Wrexham last summer, but then got injured.

When Tom Palmer signed his new deal last summer, Penn’s words at the time IIRC clearly implied Palmer had work to do to convince Penn he was first choice. I therefore assumed we’d be signing a more experienced keeper (something I assumed right up until about 24 hours before opening day).

If Penn had Dibble in mind (were they teammates at Wrexham?), but was then prevented from signing him, it also explains why, despite Palmer’s occasional issues this season, Penn hasn’t yet chosen to find a permanent solution.

All speculation on my part at this stage of course…

This would be the first time, I think, I have ever called a Harriers signing correctly.

Good call Harry he’s signed until end of season.
Definitely an area for massive improvement for me and glad Russ has on paper bought in a suitable player to improve us.

Presumably we’ll call our new keeper ‘Officer’. Hope he’ll be OK playing with the Chief.

Apologies to anyone under the age of 55.

As long as he's more TC than Benny the Ball he should do well.
