Very impressed with the NKP signing. Means we have options at centre back with Leak, Pearce and Penny if needed, plus the option to go three at the back. NKP could also cover Richards at LB too.
What I really like about our recruitment is that Russ and Jimmy have seen how we struggled beyond the first 12 or 13 players last season. We know have options in most positions (except the wingers), giving us the option to rotate when needed. It should mean we avoid the team running out of steam as seemed to happen in late Feb/March.

The player in the first half looked OK reminded me of Sammy . He had the Number 7 shirt .

Of course! The quintessential Alfreton signing.

So do we think the best we can expect now in terms of incomings is one or two eve of the season loans?

I suspect if the management decide to take on any of the trialists, they won't be contracted until 1 August and so we may get an announcement(s) very soon after that dateSheffield Harrier wrote: ↑Thu Jul 21, 2022 5:01 pmSo do we think the best we can expect now in terms of incomings is one or two eve of the season loans?

Another left-footed wide man to the mix. Job done in midfield now, you'd have to think. Plenty of options. Unsure whether it's a loan, as he seemed to still be under contract with Torquay from what I can find.
Any good against the United XI. Show any promise?

Needs to pass to a better placed player more after seeing him on Tuesday evening.

I thought he did ok Tuesday. Might be a fairly cheap signing. Certainly competition in midfield.
Will we see some late loan signings up front and in goal?
