Didn't we go in for him when he left Histon?
The best team we ever had- since i've been watching the Harriers (2002-)

There we go. There's the other left-sided defender. 14 starts in League Two last season certainly nothing to sniff at. Looks a very solid addition.
Huge credit with the organisation on recruitment. 19 under contract before a ball is even kicked. Probably one more now and job done.

2009- he signed another contract with Histon and we went with McPhee anyway.Didn't we go in for him when he left Histon?

Wonder what the odds on Luke Simpson starting the first game of the season for us are?
The management would have him back in a heartbeat and I understand he’s still not fixed up for this season (are clubs in the north-west crazy?!?).
Obviously he has a young family, but I wonder if there is a deal to be done, with him staying down in the Midlands a couple of nights a week to avoid the daily commute….

Hopefully, NKP's legs are still okay, if they are then this could be a great signing.
On other additions, I really don't see the need for a keeper. Palmer has already played more first-team games than Simpson had before we signed him. He helped take what I imagine is a midtable Rushall team in a tough division into the playoffs. Why not finally give him the number 1 shirt?

Only my opinion but I think he looks too small. With all the long ball teams in this division he will get bullied. I think we can do much betterHarrier1994 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 08, 2022 5:47 pmHopefully, NKP's legs are still okay, if they are then this could be a great signing.

I only make it 17 under contract unless of course you are counting Bastable and Moyo.TWG85 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 08, 2022 5:08 pmThere we go. There's the other left-sided defender. 14 starts in League Two last season certainly nothing to sniff at. Looks a very solid addition.

Quiz time:
Which former Harrier was a team mate of NKP when we first played Histon in October 2007?

That was quick.
I thought that would have been harder than that. Scored against us in the return game later that season too.
