And another great game.

If we get past Denmark the only way to beat Italy is keep Chiesa quiet and wear them down defensively. Then a goal on the break.
That sounds very much like what Italy's game plan would be also, they are so dangerous on the counter.

The game last night was superb. Thought Spain deserved it, but Italy have been great all tournament.
Tonight will be a tough one. Wont be surprised if GS reverts to a 343, talk of Saka coming back into the starting 11 may reflect that. I am saying 1-0, a late winner for us.

It will be tough (Denmark playing with a 12th man since Eriksen's incident) but we should have enough to get past them, especially with 60,000 (mostly) England fans backing them.

I nearly went to the Italy game last night , there were plenty of tickets available on Monday night but I couldn't justify £600 for train, hotel and match ticket, probably a chance missed .
No argument it’s an expensive business following top tournament finals these days. We’ve been to Croatia, Scotland and Germany games and are in Wembley now for tonight’s game and also have tickets for the final.

Total cost for tickets is well over a grand each for those 5 matches and they are a mix of mid range and cheaper tickets. Top price fv on Sunday is 945 euros!

You need a lot of patience and a lot of good contacts to keep the prices even to these levels but if we win tonight it’ll all be worth it!

Surely we'll see a little more interest in this now?

We played well and managed the game out but at times we lacked that little bit of inspiration. For my pennyworth we're going to have to play better than that to beat Italy. It could be like the Alamo.

Ondrej Celustka and Seb Larsson for Sunderland.

Dan Bachmann for Wrexham.

Tom Lockyer for Bristol Rovers, but he didn't play a minute of the Euros.

Fair play for getting Celustka, he was the one I didn't expect anyone to get.

Did we play Kieffer Moore when he was at FGR?

No. Nor did we play him when he was on loan at Torquay in 2016.

Got to be honest... I did check the Sunderland side from that game to check whether Larsson and Pickford played and Celustka's name jumped out!

Only other one I could think of off the top of my head was Anssi Jaakola who was in goal for Bristol Rovers in a friendly the other year, but you were asking for competitive!
