Didn't we have a record for one of the longest penalty shoot outs at sudden death about 10 years ago?
It was an away game on a Tuesday night I think...somewhere like York...I'm sure we won it.

We lost 13 penalties to 12 I recall - sadly I was there to witness the whole event - I think it was Richards who missed for us.

Given the changes made and the form Hereford have been on its a decent result. Special mention to Fremantle and Jaiden White who at their young age had the bottle to go up and take a penalty, and to convert. Yes its not the Euros final but there was still pressure on young shoulders.
Not going to lie but celebrating in front of their end was brilliant to see. Friendly banter of course.
That York shootout I recall Mark Creighton smashing one top bins, probably the best penalty I have ever seen.

Thank you Pershore. Lost that one then...was it York?

Indeed it was away at York. Penalties taken in front of the home end. Creighton's was an absolute thunderbolt gem - top left hand corner I think it was.

Sorry to go off topic a bit, but I was there when we lost to Plymouth at home in the cup. We had a big lumbering striker called Taylor I think who sent one over the bar...that was a long time ago...

He did. the first replay got fogged off. Never forget Leroy May missing an absolute sitter at the far post during that game, we battered them. The fog saved Plymouth that tie.

Didn't we play half of that replay, the fog was so bad you could only see from the North stand to the half-way line

Steve Taylor's penalty was a shocker.

I'm pretty sure we were selling programmes that night Nick.

I was walking near the corner of the Reynolds Stand and North Stand when Leroy missed his open goal. But you're right, you couldn't see beyond the halfway line after a while and Captain Crazy was on the tannoy asking people not to smoke... how the world has changed since then. I seem to recall a lot of that match was played in our half at the other end, but couldn't tell you what happened!

In the replayed replay, we played well but Steve Taylor was indeed the only one to miss. Got right under it like he was chipping out of a bunker. If only Craig Hinton had scored when clean through at Home Park in the first game...

Good memories!

Yep we were.

Remember being there early before the fans started to come in and the fog was literally rolling off the main stand roof.

Did anyone get to the bottom of why Bajrami was missing Saturday? No mention of an injury so assume he was being rested, though surprised he wasn't on the bench

He was in the stands near us. At one point Keith (who played well) ballooned a clearance upfield. I pointed to the pitch and shouted to Bajrami to get himself warmed up. He took it in good humour.
