Agree with most of the comments to date - except that Gateshead's timewasting was no worse than I would expect from Harriers if they were in the same position. Also, what are we expecting the referee to do in response - get his red cards out???

I actually enjoyed the game but we cannot expect to win many matches if we concede goals like we did today.

Thought we missed Cameron more than Carrington. KL was exposed today but that was because Gateshead kept the ball on the ground. He could still have a part to play against teams who lump it forward (and there are a few of them in this division!).

Took ages to get going

Exposed the strength in depth. As much as I love Lowe, got exposed today, missed Cameron / Moyo. Thought Montrose played ok, but we missed Carringtons drive

Ref was poor but didn’t hugely affect result unless the penalty claims show different.

We need a centre forward if we want to challenge

Decent performance against a good side, though the ref let them get away with too much before getting his card out. Deserved something.

When was the last time we could get excited when a cb was on the ball?

Bajrami could play as a midfield playmaker in this league. Love him at CB though. I wonder if teams will figure out that they can't give him time to pick out a pass as he's capable of strolling into midfield and playing in an assist.

A good game for the neutral. Would be interested to see the penalty claims again. Neither looked that strong but could have changed the game.

You make it hard work for yourselves if you concede three at home like that. I thought Gateshead played really well. They all knew their jobs, they were on it from the start (we were not) and were more clinical than us. We didn't test the keeper enough. Hope the poor lad is feeling ok now following the knocks he took.......

Wonder if Bell will get a run in the team at any point. Must be a little frustrating for him to see AMS walk back into the side. If the management team aren't fancying Bell then I wonder if we have the strike power to make a real impact this year. Can't just rely on others.

If you went to Guiseley last week Sheff you'd see the reason why.

I didn't so perhaps can't appreciate if Bell was poor when he started.
Therefore, I worry about our strike force.

I was really disappointed by AMS yesterday. He didn't win a header and hardly held the ball up and not enough movement either. Freemantle does more and I haven't seen Bell enough. Seemed ironic that we scored two headed goals when their centre backs were so dominant over AMS.

Took my son to the match. Another exceptional game for Bajrami. AMS, Lowe and Montrose all had poor / very poor games. Penny surely has leapfrogged the 2 experienced defensive players as cover. Lowe has lost too way too much pace now. Fair play to Gateshead they exposed our weakness and were sharp in passing and shooting for their goals.

Didn’t go sounded like the mistakes cost us. Lowe is definitely on a steep decline sadly. However as someone put it, it it’s against a direct team then he can do a job. A footballing side or a side with pace in their front 3-4 then he would be targeted and would cost us.
Ams should be moved on. More cards than goals last season.

AMS should be given a chance, he hasn`t played for such a long time. He puts the effort in but against such big defenders (one former premier league player) had little chance of winning headers.

Thought Montrose was ok also, ditto as above re match fitness.

I would like to see AMS given a bit more time to show his worth. He needs a run of games in the team He is not an all out striker, but I think he is a decent target man and disrupter. Alex Penny also needs more first team involvement. I'm sorry to say that we can't depend on KL these days. Montrose not as good as Carrington. Should have kept Prosser.

Looking at the highlights, is there no question about Gateshead's first and third being offside ? You can't tell from the highlights. Officials at this level are not great, are they ?

Refs at our level are probably confused looking at Liverpools first goal last night with Mane clearly offside and distracting the keeper but not 'interfering' with play???
