Oh, of course! I knew that. Didn't think. Still, doing alright. Mr. Lane will be very thankful after the beginning of the pandemic.centreforeword wrote: ↑Sun Dec 05, 2021 6:10 pmIn the FA Cup the gate receipts after deducting matchday expenses are shared between the clubs but plus an extra £32k prize money for us

Well what can I say, we were diabolical today, but you guys were superb and great game management in that 2nd half. Apologies for a few of our idiots throwing things in 2nd half. Trust me the majority were screaming at them to stop being idiots. Best of luck on next rd, and on that performance maybe in National League next season. As for us, hopefully it was just a blip.

Mega result! Listened to the H&W stream over here in France. Sounds like we completely bossed the game. Didn't sound like Halifax threatened at at all, apart from a couple of times late in the 2nd half.
Who was our m.o.m? It sounded like Bajrami was immense.
What was all the trouble about in the away end?
Who do we want next?
Whatever...it's so good to be living the dream again!!!!

Am I right in thinking that if St Albans don't get through tomorrow we are the lowest ranking team left in the competition?
If so that should give us a lot of media attention in the next round...

3rd round is on the 8th January weekend.
Would have been at home to Leamington that day so that'll be re-arranged.

Salford could still win. They'd get all the media attention first.centreforeword wrote: ↑Sun Dec 05, 2021 6:40 pmAm I right in thinking that if St Albans don't get through tomorrow we are the lowest ranking team left in the competition?

Salford are out. Goal and an assist for Kellerman for Chesterfield in that game.

Superb performance. The finish by Hemmings - with a second view on the BBC - was really good.
Everybody worked their arses off defensively, inlcuding the wingers. Bajrami and Cameron immense at CB.
Great atmosphere, but the pitch invasion was a bit annoying because it stopped the players going round the ground and celebrating with the fans properly.
Interesting that Halifax made 5 subs and we made none. I think it was the right call by Russ as the first 11 had settled into their tasks. - Why upset a good thing?

What a day! 3rd Round here we come!!!
I've gone for AMS for MOTM. Ran himself into the ground, won loads of battles and grabbed that important opener. But the whole team were on form!
