I think he originally left to join Mark Yates at Cheltenham, but came back again for several years until about 12 months ago. Not sure why he left again but someone will know. Him and Murdochs were about the only things left from before the “Kidderminster University of Football” project.

Yes what a shame, nice bloke and obviously murdochs were famous at our club! However times change and sometimes as a club you need to move on and create a new setting! Let’s see how the league goes and see if we are really pushing for league football! Can’t wait for farsley tonight! Come on you redddds

Mac can I suggest some therapy. It's a choice as to whether you choose to see the positives or negatives and life is a lot more fulfilling and meaningful when we can see the glass as being half full.

Back to football, Ill be interested to see what the attendance is. Really important we keep that momentum up and I would love to see Tolley get some game time - he seems like a real talent from the glimpses we've seen. Time to blood him.

Clearly it is mate. It’s a struggling championship side,who fielded a premier league winner Drinkwater, Laurent, puscas, holmes and tetek??? All first team players?

Reading's squad Saturday included 12 that were in their squad for their previous game against Derby. They have a squad roughly twice the size of ours, all capable of playing Championship football. Puscas was signed for 7 million and we all know about Drinkwater. Annual wage bill of £38 million!

Why ban him? Every party needs a good clown.

Exactly mate! I think our boys did absolutely fantastic. Just shows what a team playing for each other can do and a bunch of fans who are part of it!

This is more nerve-wracking than Reading! Could really do with the three points from this one...

Banana skin avoided …. just. To be fair, Farsley looked a lot better than a team that is second from bottom and got thumped 6-0 at the weekend. They were also ‘up for it’ and kept going to the end

Great result for us! Also what a great attendance for a Tuesday night game against farsley!

I’ll be honest, I thought they were bloody terrible. Before their goal, we should’ve been 1-0 up. Could not have been less impressed by them, and it’s rare that I slag off an opposition team. Missing the players they were tonight can’t have helped them because on that performance they’re lucky only one goes down this year.

That’s not to say we were much better. We didn’t need to be, but we still should’ve been.

However, a win is a win no matter how it comes and that is ultimately the only thing that matters

We looked drained today, if not physically, then emotionally - which is understandable.

Good call to play Freemantle, who never stopped running and who's turn and goal was really excellent.

I thought Farsley were cynical and deserved everything they got - i.e nothing. I've never see quite so much blatant timewasting in a first half, unpoliced by a weak and poor quality ref.
