This is it then. Bit of a break then back at it. I hope that you've all had a good holiday and are now raring to get to see the lads in real action.
Bit of a long way to go for it though so how do you think we'll get on?
Before that though Andrew wants your predictions so get them done asap otherwise he'll think you don't love him anymore.

This is the referee. She must be decent because she reffed the Womens FA Cup Final in 2021.

I see that the referee for Saturdays game is Helen Conley from Bishops Auckland

I haven't missed the first game of the season for 34 years but Blyth is too far for me, 10 hour round coach trip wouldn't do my back any good.

I'm not looking forward to it for the same reason mate but having never been to Blyth it has to be done sometime. She's busy trying to get her head around food.

I went there for my first and last time when Harriers lost in the FA Cup, notable for John Burrage playing for Blyth and Lord K storming the directors box to give Harriers directors a piece of his mind over Harriers abject performance

people seem very optimistic of our chances - in predictions made - 13 have us down away from home to beat Blyth, 5 for the draw and just 2 for a Blyth win
0ther august predictions seem equally optimistic
(or as my optician said - either you are optimistic , or you have a misty optic! )

Many still on holiday Phil and, rather than make the long journey up North, have opted to make the most of the sunshine this weekend.
Credit to you guys for going. True No. 1 supporters. Hopefully, a few dozen more by car will travel.

Went to Blyth away last year. Unfortunately I am now having a coffee looking across the bay to Antibes (ahead of flying back to the UK) so will miss this year. It’s difficult but I will just have to suck it up

We’re starting the season with, on paper, the best midfield I can remember for a very long time. Grit, skill and goals in there. Haven’t felt more positive at the beginning of a season for ages - so we’re probably heading for a defeat!

Starting eleven just about what I expected, wasn't sure who would play at C/B but Russ has gone with NLN experience, bench looks strong. Hoping for three points.

Been a scrappy, and feisty, first half. They look more likely to score.
Freemantle fluffed a sitter and Ceesay cannot beat his man.
Joe Foulkes standout so far
