Hearing new CF being announced today

We have got into the habit recently of announcing a new signing about half an hour before the team is announced!
Will be keeping an eye on my phone from 1pm-ish…
That’s how I read it also, but we’ll likely never know for sure. Hope we can lock down Kalambayi for the remainder of the season (at least)Harrier1994 wrote: Fri Jan 16, 2026 6:59 pmCould be that, I read it as we agreed to terminate his contract as Farnborough wouldn't have been able to sign him for a feetonythescout wrote: Fri Jan 16, 2026 6:36 pm Thanking us Meaning we’ve probs had to settle part of his contract

Keeper of the mythical and (maybe) magically imbued Lee Hughes Red Boot
So was there anything in this tony? I'd really got my hopes up. But I should have known better!
I think it's clear that we need a striker/goalscorer at the club & that it could be the difference between winning the play offs and not.

Its an area we do need a massive upgrade on.
I cant see us bringing anyone proven/decent unless we get Kurt and TSS both fully off the wage bill

Hey. Thanks for this. Let's hope that there might have been this false alarm because the club are looking for/close to signing a forward!tonythescout wrote: Wed Jan 21, 2026 1:12 pmOn this occasion it looks like the usual source hasnt come off, sadlyHarrierN2 wrote: Mon Jan 19, 2026 11:29 amSo was there anything in this tony?
