3 of those misses are inexcusable, not even hitting the target on them is so poor
Harriers without a win in three. Did not sound a good listen on the radio. Did we actually create anything proper for our strikers? Is Murray aware that more than one striker on the pitch for the majority of the game might help us score? Then again, we would have to create chances for them first. Answers on a postcard.

3clear cut chances created, all blasted or headed miles wide.harry211 wrote: Tue Feb 10, 2026 9:46 pm Harriers without a win in three. Did not sound a good listen on the radio. Our delivery is atrocious, but when it lands we can't finish.
Bizarre goal disallowed, no one near the keeper who flaps at the ball and the ref blows for a foul

From where I was sat we had enough good chances to win a couple of games. Most of them fell to DD who inexplicably put them wide. Keeper saved a few close range headers and punched a few away off the line. And of course we had one disallowed for some reason. Sure the ref pointed for the goal and then changed his mind.harry211 wrote: Tue Feb 10, 2026 9:46 pm Harriers without a win in three. Did not sound a good listen on the radio. So I think some of the criticism I’m reading is a little harsh. BUT we didn’t score. It was so frustrating. Did Waldron have an effort at goal? Hemmo didn’t get going. Reynolds off the pace today. We’ve come up against a good side today but they’d been shipping goals recently. I suppose they could have snatched it and had 2/3 really good chances themselves.
Why was Spiers not sent off? Everyone knows that if he wasn’t already on a booking he’d have been booked for that challenge. Ref bottled it.
We’ve got to take more chances. We’ve got to score more goals.
Heard someone on the way out say it didn’t matter today as it didn’t make any difference to the league. I think this is naive. There are sides below us picking up results and the play-offs are far from certain. We had a great run but have now stuttered and need to start winning again.

We HAVE to finish third. Will we? Not sure
I can see who ever finishing second swallowing to a darlington or a macclesfield or a merthyr. I dont fancy us at any of those placesaway from home in the play offs
Game was poor but should have won. Davis very guilty of four big chances
Weird first half formation reynilds left centre forward foulkes centre mid. Whats all that about. Waldron isolated and when bought ams on he took Devine our only threatening outlet off
Why we persist with Walker i do
Not know. Even the staunchest of his fans (see Wes podcast) have gone quiet on him. His lack of end product and quality of crossing is diabolical, it’s a season too soon for him
We need a ten and with TO going back and spokes going permanently i wonder if we are looking at someone.
Again its a struggle to sfore goals and thag is ultimately our downfsll
Positives are Evans being back snd the back three being solid after the shit show last week
Pk collossal and obi a-lot kore assured

Atmosphere was poor but why is it up to the yoof surelySheffield Harrier wrote: Tue Feb 10, 2026 10:37 pm Another thing. The town end easily outsung by 180 Welsh persons. The loudest Harriers fans got was singing something about sheep. What fun eh?
And then 90% of the crowd trot off at the end without acknowledging the players. Great support ….
Others in the town end and other stands (when do they sing) to get something going?!

I was hoping for fireworks tonight but in the end it was all a bit tepid. The team seem to have lost a bit of cohesion and rhythm. The version of this side from a few weeks ago would have won this I’m sure.
We had enough half decent chances to score, but equally Merthyr should have scored a close range header and also forced a great save from Dibs.
The biggest change for me is the wasp Ryley. He was the heartbeat of the team a few weeks ago but looks a bit off it at the moment.
Problems persist with Walker’s decision making and his final ball. When we did get good crosses in (usually Devine) there was nobody there or we fluffed the chances. Waldron doesn’t look the part at the moment, but I guess he still needs time.
2400 there I think - I was expecting a few more. The noise never really got going, but that was a reflection of the action on the pitch.
I’m not sure about the disallowed goal, I’ll be interested to see it back. Disappointing if we have fouled the keeper (Obi?) because I think it was sailing in regardless.
1st and 2nd are gone now I think, so we need to consolidate and find form at the right time going into the playoffs. Not a disaster tonight and 3rd place is still well within reach.

Frustrating game. We should have scored 5 goals . 4 from digger and the disallowed goal. As much as they looked so quick on the break Dibble didn't have a save to make. Referee was shocking. Absolutely awful. MOTM Evans by a mile. Thought a few were not at their best tonight but overall I'm happy with a point. Teams are closing in and it's gonna be tight up there come end of season. However would rather be a kiddy fan than a Hereford one! On the subject of fans saw about 20 of the 12-14 Yr old delinquent kids from behind the goal after the game causing or trying to cause trouble. Security were after them. Unnecessary and embarrassing
Agree.Mirage Molby wrote: Tue Feb 10, 2026 10:43 pm

Decent point in the context of what is realistic now ie finishing third.
And the key will be to finish third with good momentum going into the playoffs - the year we had that we won it, and the years where we’d run out of steam, or took our foot off the gas, or were just shell shocked, we didn’t.
Last year we won just one game in eight from late January to late February (before we then went on that ridiculous run), so I am not going to be too concerned about not winning games at this time - things can change quickly. Plenty of time to find some form and that momentum yet.

Dibble made a big save second half you must have been in the bogs for that one

Not much quality on show from either side. On those performances you wouldn’t fancy either in the playoffs.
Seemed like a pretty negative setup for a match we needed to win. Foulkes looked like a fish out of water in midfield. Too much Penn-style scared football. Merthyr on a poor run but we looked terrified of them at times. Waldron unimpressive though to be fair he didn’t get a great deal of service. Should have dominated midfield with so many bodies in there but we didn’t.
Evans our MOTM, worked his socks off covering for Obi and PK both of who were exposed for their lack of pace.
No idea why the goal was disallowed. Not our fault they have a tiny keeper. Looked to me that the ref initially awarded the goal then allowed play to continue while our players were still celebrating. And yes, Spiers should have got a second yellow. Ref bottled it.
Need to improve on Saturday for sure.
